Most Latinos will agree that they all share a more
intense passion for enjoying life.
The fiestas always have music and the people are
always dancing. To them, warm colors represent Latin warmth. This
“colorido” or “colorfulness” is as much a representation of the Hispanic
community as anything else.
Hispanics also have something that they call “Chispa”.
It is the fun and “witty” nature of the Latino culture.
Because of “chispa”, Hispanics seem to have little trouble making
fun of themselves. Life is never taken so seriously.
This also translates into the Hispanic laid-back attitude. That
brings up another important difference- Hispanic time never coincides
with American time.
